Bytegeek's MVP Builder
What Is The MVP Builder?
We use a structured process to build your MVP quickly and on budget. Our product experts will streamline your MVP to the most important features. Then, our top talent UX/UI and development teams will design and build your MVP from the ground up. This allows you to rapidly launch, prove the product’s main assumptions so your business can grow as soon as possible.
How It Works
The Product Scope is an intensive, 7-day, structured process. It all starts with an immersive focus session where you’ll sit down with product experts and ex startup founders to dive into the product vision from a business standpoint. From this point, we will create the right list of user stories for the design of your Minimum Viable Product.
The design brief starts with a product scope – either created by us or provided by you – with all the user stories, UX personas or list of features and stakeholder analysis.
We start by creating the most important screens for your product. This allows you to see exactly how your product will look and then approve the design.
Once you are happy and approve the Key Screens we extend the design to the remaining screens and deliver the full product UX/UI.
After your app is fully designed and approved we start the implementation phase. During this phase we progressively deliver the modules of the app, so you can test them during the process.
When the app is fully developed we enter a testing phase during which we’re in constant contact to fix major bugs and make sure your MVP is ready to go to market.
Key Benefits
Time to Market
The quicker you can test your assumptions the quicker you can get to market. By saving time you will save a considerable amount of energy by using this streamlined methodology.
Reduced Risk
We don’t want to help you build a full-featured product only to discover the market doesn’t want it. We want you to succeed. That’s why we focus on the vital features needed to test your product’s main assumptions – leaving unnecessary features behind, or saving them for later iterations.
Reduced Cost
By cutting down the feature list to the essential core that is needed to prove your product’s assumptions, you’re not only reducing the risk but also reducing the cost. You will spend less on product development and at the initial iteration phase – fewer features equals less maintenance.
Focus on Growing the Business
Building an MVP is the quickest way to grow your business – especially if you use expert product builders to help you. It allows you to focus on the business vision. Bringing a team of experts on board will kick-start your business and get the ball rolling – and, in the beginning, is much quicker and safer than hiring an in-house team.
Outputs From the MVP Builder
Key BPMN
BPMN (Business Process Model & Notation) is a flow chart method that models the steps of a planned business process from end to end. This is usually needed at this stage when we have complex workflows. We design the key flows to be sure that we’re not missing any important detail in the main flows, and that we’re in sync with the client’s vision.
Tech Scope
Optional: When the project is challenging from a tech standpoint we elaborate research and a memorandum tackling our suggested approaches for tech stack selection, database technology and orchestration.
Tech Spike
Optional: When the project is so challenging on the tech side that the whole project could fail because of a technology bottleneck, we propose to do a Tech Spike. A viability check where we only focus on building a tiny proof of concept that proves the technology approach is viable. This is a risk mitigation procedure that allows the Project to move to the MVP building phase on solid ground.
Business Model
Optional: When the business model is either undefined or unclear we also propose to study the most viable Business Model for the product. This study starts with looking at direct competitors, then parallel or similar cases, then we run simulations to then, together with the client, evaluate the best approach.
Stakeholders Analysis
Our product decisions are based on a structured rationale. We need to know all the stakeholders in-depth in order to help to guide decisions about the product and also to help to prioritize the key User Stories for the MVP.
User Stories
We get into the mind of your product’s ideal user and create the story of the journey they take through the product. We know from experience that creating user stories is better than lists of features because it keeps the user at the center of the process.
Brand Brief
In some cases, there is not a Brand Rationale or a strong branding in place when we start, so in this case, we go through the brand brief to try to understand the brand values that should be reflected in the UI and aesthetics of the product.
Clickable Prototype
The clickable prototype is a non-functional prototype meant to simulate users’ interaction. The experience of using the clickable prototype is very much like the final product itself, this is the adequate phase to test the information architecture and UX.
Information Architecture
Our IA process derives from a mix of IA principles and cognitive psychology. The output is a structured blueprint with all the product’s information that allows users to understand where they are and how to get from A to B without using a sitemap.
UI Mockups
Our mockup phase starts right after the UX and the brand are defined. The output is a high-fidelity design already reflecting the aesthetics approach, from the product’s color schemes, visual style and typography.
UX Wireframes
During the wireframing phase, we focus on a low-fidelity design, the minimum graphic representation of the product with just the most essential elements and the content. This way, it is easy to iterate until the optimal structure is reached without losing time with details.
“
Our objective is to empower enterprises to embrace the high-tech world. We facilitate the transition from outdated IT architectures to cloud-based infrastructures, enabling the implementation and support of cutting-edge technologies that elevate businesses to new heights.
